KI-Transparency.
All article images in the FREITAG® Immobilien GmbH journal are symbolic images generated with artificial intelligence. They are visibly marked with "AI-generated" on every view and additionally machine-readably tagged.
Rechtsgrundlage
The labelling is carried out in implementation of Art. 50 para. 4 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 on Artificial Intelligence (AI-VO / AI Act), whose transparency obligations will apply from 2 August 2026, as well as additionally in accordance with § 5 UWG (German Act Against Unfair Competition) [Irreführungsverbot] and journalistic due diligence obligations.
Scope of Labelling
- Visible label "AI-generated" directly on the image – in overviews, sliders, theme pages and in the article view.
- Detailed caption below the main article image with clear text notice, symbolic image character and reference to this page.
- Machine-readable tagging:
data-ai-generatedin HTML as well as structured data (schema.orgImageObject) with the IPTC valuetrainedAlgorithmicMedia. - Alternative texts (alt) of the images contain the addition "AI-generated symbolic image" for screen readers.
What the images are not
The images do not show real existing objects, persons, interiors or events. They are expressly not documentation of a factual situation described in the text and not object photography. We use photos of specific properties exclusively in our exposés – these are genuine photographs and do not carry AI labelling.
